So have been so strong through this entire journey, and so very helpful to me and hundreds of others.

May your tears be healing tears. Please take care of yourself.  After so long as a caregiver, your entire world has now changed, and you need healing ways to fill the void.

Pink Grandma, with deepest sympathy for the loss of your beloved husband.  I've read your posts and have seen that you both have been through so much.  My thoughts and prayers will be you and your family.  Please take care of yourself and take one day at a time.  Know that your husband is at peace now.  God Bless You.

Pink Grandma,
My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this very sad time. Remember and treasure the good times and I'm sure there were many of them. While you are greatly suffering his loss, remember he is no longer suffering which must be a great comfort to you.
Take care.

Thank you all my dear friends here at healingwell. It's very comforting to know that so many people care. I am getting through one day at a time with baby steps. Just knowing that he is not suffering any longer helps get me through each day. I will keep in touch as much as I can as this is a great forum for support and education. Thanks again..........Love Pink Grandma

Hi Pink Grandma,

I popped onto this site today especially to write a quick note to you as you were in my mind. It is so strange I felt the need to write a note to you out of the blue... I am so sad to hear of your loss. You showed me support when I was talking about my father and it touched my heart. You have given so much of yourself to so many. You have showed support and understanding even in the midst of your own turmoil. You are right. Your husband's suffering is over and I believe he is in heaven with our father. I am so very very sorry for your loss. I hope you have a good support system and now is the time to take care of yourself as well as you have taken care of so many others. You are a wonderful strong brave soul. My prayers are with you. please contact me if you need a friend. You have taken a long hard journey. Know you have a friend.
There will be a rainbow again for you after the rain. Holding you in my prayers tonight.

Love,

Carolyn

The air is thick with cloud, and cannot weep itself clear. There may come a gorgeous sunset, though."

Thanks again everyone. I am doing alot better. My baby steps have grown back to almost normal steps. I went back to work about a month after my husband past away. It was rough at first but now it is a life saver. It keeps my mind off of things. It is still hard coming home to an empty house though. My bad moments are getting farther and farther apart. I want to thank everyone again, you all are such a great bunch of people. God Bless each and everyone of you and your families. :-) Love Pink Grandma
