Do vitamins really help with fatigue when there is a problem with the liver? Have any of you caretakers or actual patients observed a noticeable increase in energy levels? Not knowing the exact situation with my liver, I'm a little hesitant to take anything unless there will be an obvious benefit.

I take a multivitamin WITHOUT IRON, vit. E and C every day. However, I haven't noticed any decrease in fatigue. I do feel that they boost my immune system, though. I can't remember the last time I had a cold.

My husband also took those same vitamins as well as some others. I believe that they helped him with his energy. He did so well for a long time . Others would have been totally bed ridden but he kept going and going almost until the end. I believe that they are to help you not to get malnutricianed (sp) like alot of liver patients get. So if you are getting all your nutients then your body performs better. Just my 2cents. :-) Pink Grandma

Thanks Hep and Grandma. I think I'll give them a try.
