Hi Everyone,
Have not posted for a while but have been reading everyones comments a couple times a week.  I wanted to share some good news for a change I received my latest blood results yesterday and for the first time in a year my levels are NORMAL  AST 25 ALT 39.  I guess my hep doctor in Miami was right to keep staying at the 20 mg of Prednisone so far my levels have been stable for 6 weeks it is very tempting to lower dose but she insist I stay at 20mg until my levels are stable for 6 months then redo liver biposy if no inflamation then she will begin to wean me down.  I know that before every time I tried to go lower the levels went back up.  So this time I will try and listen to the expert she said most doctors make the mistake of weaning down before a patient reaches true remission then the levels go up and you have to start over.  Hope everyone has a great holiday.
