Can anyone tell me what is the name of the drug they can give you during a liver biopsy so you do not remember any pain.  I have to have another one done in Dec and cannot remember the name of the drug but I do remember they gave it to me just when they were inserting the needle and I did not feel anything and the drug wore off in minutes.

WOW really! all they gave me was Novocain like the dentist gives you to numb my skin. It didn’t help and I felt everything once they were in there. I have had 2 biopsies and I would love to know what this drug is. I hope someone tell you what the name is.
