I have IBS and very bland diet.  However, this afternoon I drank one cup of weak hot tea and now about 4 hours later have bad gas pains.  Can hot tea cause this?  Also, does anyone also have trouble eating buttered pasta?  I've noticed lately that it seems to make me have a few problems after I eat it whereas never had a problem before.

carbs produce gas, I have heard. If it bothers you don't eat it. Everyone is so different there really is not way to compare.

With gas, you are gonna have to do a trial and error, just like canyonbabe said everyone is different. Try to test food in small servings and write it somewhere and then stick with what you can handle.

I'm Mr. trapped gas.

Lay down on your left side,do mini multiple burping.
Then change on the rigth side and so on.

Gas will eventually be evacuate i promise.

Gas pain is a form of constipation.

-IBS induced by NSAID
-IBS-A,C with meteorism(trapped gas) and pubic burning-
