I wanted to add this to the chat room. If you have been diagnosed with IBS but none of the meds are working and you still have pain primaraly in your stomach, ask your doctor to do a stomach emptying test. I currently had one doctor tell me he thought I had IBS. THe meds did not work and i continued to get worse, at one point I had to be hospitalized just to get an IV for fluids. I went to get a second oppinion and that is when the doctor did the test for gastroparesis. If get a very full feeling as soon as i start eating and then as time past nausea increases. I am finally am on meds that are helping and I am strickly on a liquid diet. I just wanted people to know that it could be something other than IBS, it is an easy diagnosis that misses a lot of other symtoms. Good luck and let me know if you have had the same out come?

What are you on? Reglan? How long are you going to be on the liquid diet. I take Motilium which is not available in the US but is much cheaper and with less side effects than Reglan. It is available over the counter in most countries and has been on the market for years. It really helps me get rid of the bloat and move that food faster out of my stomach. Unfortunately I forget to take it an hour before I eat but I can take it later.
