I hate it when I get Flatulence I get it every time before I need to have a bowel movement, sometimes while I'm out just walking, and every time in the morning,I hate this with a passion.Would anyone know a way to stop it completely or avoid it all together?

There really is no way to avoid it as that is part of what makes everything move. Have you tried Gas-X and the other Gas products. When you start moving it starts moving which is why you get it more when you walk. When cows get bad flatulence they put them in a truck and drive them around and all the bouncing and banging around gets rid of it. If you are not moving it just sits there and gets worse.

This may not be the case for everyone, but for me taking anything to stop the gas (which, btw, almost never works) usually results in C.  I had terrible problems with digestive enzymes and probiotics.  These things did help minimize the gas, but they also minimized motility as well.

You're probably avoiding these things but if not:

Eliminate soda, carbonated beverages, gum, the use of straws, foods that produce gas, etc. Walking up and down our staircase helps release gas for me. Sometimes just doing exercises in the bathroom (leg lifts, etc.) between bm's helps me too. Helps to bring it on and get it out.

You could look over this list, it may help, but again I'm sure this list isn't news to you. If you've been dealing with gas for a while. I do know that I am now what I eat. 24/7. So I watch what I eat very carefully, to co-exist in a world with "normal" colon people.

Sucking on hard candy or cough drops will create more gas. The more you swallow the more gas you will have so I have cut down on the water bottle and now just use a glass. I think I get less air swallowing that way. There are some that say saliva neutralizes acid so it is a good thing because acid causes gas so I thought chewing gum was good and saw a site on line that said it was good and my Doctor had a fit when he saw me with gum.

I take mintex peppermint oil capsules and they help a little.. (or in the worst case just make the results smell more pleasant!).. otherwise excercise is the winner. In the rare work I have when I have to be completely active all day, I find my symptoms pull back to a very manageable level.

You can't really get rid of the problem all together but I have found that certain things can help to reduce it. Try looking into your diet and what you are eating. I have also found that olive oil can be quite helpful but it still does not make the problem disappear altogether.

I recently came across some underwear on the internet while I was researching remedies and solutions for flatulence. The pants have some form of Activated Carbon in the back panel which absorbes the odour. They are called Shreddies. I definitely recommend them and I hope they work for you as much as they have me.

I will always! get gas and bloating if I eat anything with yeast in it. And then, the sugar (refined/processed) in the foods that I eat along with it, just seem to feed it and make it worse. Others have also told me they find they get more gassy after eating bread. Maybe experiment by eliminating all yeast/sugar foods for awhile to see if that helps?

I try to avoid all the foods that I know trigger gas but I still get it in the morning before I need to have a bowel movement.I did buy the peppermint oil pills have not tried it cause I hear it causes heartburn a little scared to take it.I am glad that I do get gas in the morning cause all I need to do is pass it then I'm alright for the rest of the day until I eat again and it's huge amounts of it too.I'm glad that I get that out the way in the morning and I go about my day ok.I did end up purchasing a bike starting to bike ride that I know is a good source of working out and may limit my symptoms and keep things in flow.I was so happy to get out today and just bike ride I know it's also a good source of therapy for me a way to release built up frustration.I will try the peppermint oil pills tomorrow after I eat or before a meal not sure which I'll read the bottle tonight wishing everyone good digestive health all my love. :-)
