I have found that I am much more inclined to soft or D bms when I have eaten mushrooms. I have now given them up (sad for a veggie!) and the last couple of weeks have noticed a definite improvement in the bm department.

Do others have similar experiences?

Hope you are all coping. It is difficult to keep positive but there are so many worse off such as those poor souls in Burma.

Take care.

Hey Easta

I'm not usually on this forum, but do have IBS so i peruse these posts from time to time. I LOVE mushrooms and have recently eaten a boat load! I tend to like to eat them alone with salad dressing....and no salad! Anyway, i noticed a lot more trouble with extra bm's and d right after, but it never occured to me that it was the mushrooms. This is very interesting! I think i'l put some time between this episode and then try the mushrooms again to see what they do to me. Thanks for posting this!

I think they are very hard to digest and do cause me gas. Also, if you are allergic to molds you will have a harder time not only in digestive problems but possibly asthma or breathing problems.
