Ok.... This isnt Irritable Bowel Syndrome..... but I couldnt find a topic/section that would be suitable.....
Ok... I am currently being treated for Genital Warts (on my anus) - The exterior ones are more a less gone via 2 treatments of lovely cryotherapy.... thats when they get a fire extinguisher thing, and spray them, and give u frost bite on your a**.
Anyhow... I was instructed to treat with Aldara cream.... terible stuff. BURNS LIKE A MUVA*****.
On my second treatment, I told the doctor,I suspected there were a few internal warts, he examined... and apparently, Warts are ***his thing***, and he concurred, there were some inside my anus.
"Although the Aldara says not to be used internally, it should be safe enough to treat the internal warts"
I was like "Ok.."
Anyhow, I began treatment, and now, I have found that one of the warts, if it can be described as a wart, is long, and hangs down from the roof of my anus.
I can only describe it from feeling....(prodding) and it feels like its about a half inch long, maybe slightly give or take, and I seriously dont remember it being like that before.
It makes passing solids extremely hard, because the solids stick to it, then try to bring the top of my anus with it as it leaves my body.
Im somewhat concerned that the warts may have developed into something more serious, from what I have heard, Warts can turn into Cancerous growths, and it is infact impossible to have Bowel Cancer without having the HPV virus first.
Can anyone confirm if Warts can indeed become long, slender, yet sensitive pieces of flesh that hang from the body as mine has?
Im half tempted to try and cut the blasted thing off, but its quite a tricky place, and surgery is best left to the docs. I would say its about half a centimeter thick, but about half inch long.
I do have a follow up to go to at the clinic in June, although, I suppose I could get seen sooner if I use my GP, I just dont like my Family Doctor being privy to sexual health related stuff.... I suppose thats what makes GUM clinics so popular.... oh... and sexually transmitted diseases I suppose.
