I have had IBS-C for 12 years, so you'd think by now I'd know better. But I ate a casserole with canned tomato products and cooked cabbage in it over the weekend - got diarrhea. Then I ate some BAD foods - ate a lot of beef and turkey jerky and some diet soda and Chinese takeout and I am horribly constipated. I can't pee either and I am pretty sure I am retaining a ton of fluid. I have a spare tire and huge gut which normally is not there, and I am 5'7" and normally weigh 112 pounds, or at least I did a few days ago. I am in pain and I want to do an enema but am worried that the enema will make the fluid retention/bloating worse. I already know I shouldn't be eating sugar but that doesn't mean I don't. I am human after all. Lately things have been so stressful and I can see myself destroying my body by what I eat but I don't know what to do. I just feel so ugly and fat right now. I need to fix the constipation and get this fluid out. Any ideas?
