My severely handicapped daughter has just begun to take Miralax for chronic constipation.  She is fed a liquid diet through a G-tube.  Should Miralax only be given with water or juice, or can it be mixed with the liquid food (formula)?  The directions say water or juice - I'm concerned that giving it with formula may give her cramps/gas.  She does not speak, so I need to hear it from someone who has actually taken the Miralax with food or other than with water.
Thank you
