I would like to know if there is anyone else out there who suffers Temporo mandibular joint dysfunction due to the removal of their wisdom tooth. I was diagnosed with this condition following the removal of my wisdom tooth. The dentist janked it out under local anaethestic. She left a gaping hole in my gum which got infected many times until another Dentist in the same practice x-rayed it scraped and sowed my gum together. This has caused me nerve damage in my gum.

In my case this condition is not caused by stress or grinding of the teeth.
