I don't know how else to ask this without being a little descriptive. I have been diagnosed with lymphocytic colitis earlier this year, but now my doctor also thinks I have IBS on top of this (I did a number on my intestines due to heavy antibiotic use for a couple years due to Lyme disease). My question is I do sometimes have loose stools, but a lot of times now I have this constant "urge" and when I go I work so hard to go (even work up a sweat) and it takes forever (feels like I am giving birth) but there is not much result when I done and the stool itself is not hard at all so it is not like I am constipated. I do feel like I spasm some though especially afterwards. If I cannot get the entire amount out it will hurt (spasms) - but it is not easy to do.

I am sorry if this is too much information - but my doctor did mention something like this and I wondered if this was normal with IBS. Again, sorry for details. Thanks for any help.

Blessings,
Leah
