  Hi everyone,
Just a quick observation to see if others ever experience this.
Does "depression" ever exacebate your increaded ..loose bowels.
Here's what happens to me---
I experience very unusual (for me) early awakenings...(5:30-6 AM)---& going to the batroom...w loose stools 2 or 3's OK...for the rest of the day.  (I wonder "WHY" this is?)
I started taking my Caltrate & times.....Immodium--

That happens to me quote often. I attribute it to what I ate and/or how stressed out I am. It happens more often when I eat right before bed or when I've been drinking the night before.
I'm not "depressed" though. For me it's just other things that cause it.

For me, the loose bowels/diarrhea etc. cause depression, bigtime.
23 years of UC which started after quitting smoking. In and out of flares which are usually triggered by antibiotics. Latest issue is endless diarrhea without blood or mucous.

  • L glutamine
