ok so the past few months i have been freaking out..
my stomach is ALWAYS bloated.

ok so i have verrrry bad anxiety and GERD.

so i wake up and my stomach feels bloated. but once i eat my stomach gets HUGE.. like i look 5 months prego! seriously i dont even have to eat very much and my stomach gets really bloated!

i went to the doc like a month ago and she just pushed on my stomach and is blaming it on my anxiety but i dont think it is.. i feel like im having some sort of intestinal problem.

im sooo scared!

what do you guys think it is?

It could be partly anxiety, or soft drinks or air swallowing, gum chewing and sucking on hard candy or smoking. Do you do any of those things. When we are anxious we gulp air so she may be on point. Take some Tums or anything with Simethicone in it immediately. Since it gets worse even if you don't eat much she might be right.

well i do chew alot of gum.. but i dont smoke.
my doctor told me to take gas-x but nothing seems to work. i take prilosec everyday but that doesnt help either. i had an EGD done in jan of last year but that was just to look at my stomach and my esophagus. bc she thought i had ulcers.

Been there done that, could have played the bongos on my stomach, it was killing me. I still have issues with it, but not nearly as bad. I started eating about half of what I used to, plus these generic protonics pills and it seems to have helped a lot. I too tried gas-x and phazyme, neither of which worked, even when I used twice the dosage limits.

stop the gum for a while and see how you do. The problem is the stomach. If you were checked out and there was nothing wrong then it is probably just a functional problem. I have had it all my life, at least since my 20's. The other possibility is to check for female problems and rule that out. I am surprised the Gas-x didn't work as when I talked to my doctor about it after he finished telling me about the gum, etc he said Simethicone, simethicone, simethicone. It does help but not to the degree that I think he thinks it does. Less food, no dairy, no slurping drinks while eating, behavior modification do first. Some of the acid reducers make mine worse so I stay with Pepcid but the peppermint, fennel and ginger pills help also. It is disgusting to look in a mirror for me at times.
