Healthy Diet???

I have tried lots recently to try and sort my toilet trouble out but no matter how healthy or how little i eat the cramps spasims and diarrhea are never far away.

I know to avoid fizzy drinks, caffeen and pretty much all fatty foods.
I have tried knocking dairy products from what i eat but that didnt seem to help.

I have tried just eating two very small healthy meals a day and drinking loads of water and still the diarrhea is always lurking waiting for its chance to get me when im out and about at work.

What sorts of food do you find helps with yours..what do you avoid...?

Or should i just stick to dosing myself with Imodium?

Is it ok to keep taking the Imodium? I know that when mine first started I would take it but as soon as it wares off the diarrhea comes back.

Have you tried eliminating all grains, yeast and processed/refined sugar for a while, as well? Were you ever on antibiotics before your symptoms began? If so, you may have a fungal/yeast condition and you would need to kill the fungus by eliminating those foods for awhile....or perhaps you have a gluten intolerance.Do you avoid artificial sugars? Do you take probiotics, which will keep the bowel flora balanced? If I eat yeast in any amount, I get gas and often D the following day. Ever one is different, so one can't tell you what you "should" eat or not eat. However, people have been helped avoiding foods like grains and sugar.
