Does anyone here have a "Mobile Cecum"

I was just diagnosed with this yesterday.  Basically everything was clear in my colonoscopy, but the doctor thinks I have a mobile cecum.  He told my husband that it's nothing I really need to worry about except he told me about a week ago that I'm at high risk for a twisted bowel if that is the case. 

It depend how mobile it is.

I was diagnosed with mobile cecum about 10 years ago. I have major issues with constipation and am currently experiencing a lot of pain. My doc wants to remove my whole large intestine now. If you are not in pain or having constipation then I would not worry too much about it.

The phrase "Mobile Cecum" makes me laugh because I had my cecum removed. That's about as mobile as you can get.

I don't mean to make light of your situation. Definitely get a second opinion and even a third opinion. A planned surgery is not fun but an emergency surgery for a twisted colon would be even worse. Make sure you know the symptoms of a twisted colon, especially the early signs and ask your doc what you should do it you experience any of these symptoms.
