Hello,

I am having my first colonoscopy tomorrow, and I've been doing the prep today. I have finished about half of the jug of Halflytely, and I am so nauseous and sick, I really don't think I can finish it. Does anyone think that this won't be a good enough prep? My stools are liquid and clear, so I'm hoping I've cleaned out enough, but I don't know what else to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Just keep trying to knocking it back maybe adding more cool water will help with the taste oh drink it with a straw I found that helped me.They really want you to finish the whole thing so that you'll be fully cleaned out good luck will be praying for you take care let me know how it went, sending you good thoughts. :-)

Thanks jt! I tried drinking it with a straw, and that helped. I had my colonoscopy today, and it went well because I was afraid I wasn't cleaned out enough. No real problems, they diagnosed me with IBS, and they took biopsies to see if I have celiac disease and microscopic colitis. I should get those results in a week or two. :-)

Halflytely? Is that a laxative? I've been offered the chance to have a colonoscopy but I'm afraid doing it will make things worse. (Stress, drinking things, sedation, the actual procedure) I don't think I can do it sad

But I'm glad yours went ok :-)
