I was wondering if anyone here has tried prevalite.  It is really a med for lowering cholesteral, but it works for IBS.  I heard about it and got my doc to let me try it.  I had to do a little experimenting on my own to get the dosage right, but once I did, boy did it do the trick.  I comes in a powder form, tastes nasty and is gritty, but well worth it for the results.  I have found that mixing it with juice, especially orange, makes it the most palatable.
