Hey everyone I just wanted to know are any of you dealing with excessive gas.I hate when I get gas I know it's a natural thing but sometimes I feel I have it for no dam apparent reason. It's just excessive gas that really bothers me I'm trying to do everything possible to reduce the amount of gas that my body produces but all my attempts have failed.I've tried every dam probiotic known to man nothing but lucky for me I never get it out in public I make sure especially in the morning to pass all the gas I need to before I head out for the day. It's when I eat again I'm indoors cause my stomach be making all these dam sounds and I get flatulence this is so upseting to me.This is one of the reasons I stay home a lot and do not eat anything before going out or while I'm out.It does no thelp that I'm also taking medications which they say can change your system.I never used to have gas like this it's after having IBS it's been unbarable. Is there anything that you have done that limits it? please I would like to know thank you.

I get a lot of gas, too, JT. Always after I eat, no matter what I eat and how slowly and carefully I chew my food. I just seem to be a gas producer. I swear by charcoal caps to cut down on intestinal gas and trapped gas. I take 2 after eating. I take Charco-Caps, which are homeopathic and you can pick them up at just about any drugstore. I also take activated charcoal by Nature's Way. I get that at my local health food store. They don't work for everyone, but they have helped me tremendously.

Note: Don't take them with other medications as they may absorb the meds. Take either one hour before your medication or two hours after your medication. Also, they will make your stools darker, like Pepto Bismol does. Harmless.

O.K , I have tried alot of remedies, charco caps, Gas x and nothing really helps. What is helpful is when you have reguilar bowel movements. For me, the gas is high when I am constipated as hell or ofcourse if I eat hard to digest foods, greasy or dairy of fatty foods. So watch what you eat, eat light, dont eat too much before you go to bed and make sure you are going to the bathroom regularly. Do you have IBS with constipation? Also, anti-anxiety's may help. I was given Libax and Xanax. And oh yea, don't eat when your upset and don't eat too fast. Avoid carbonated drinks as much as you can. Good luck

I have IBS C&D it's the worse I do stay away from fatty and greasy foods cause I know I do not digest them well they do upset my stomach.I'm on anti-depressents Rameron which my therapist say has a little anti-anxiety agent in it.It sure is not helping since it's there.Yes I do go to the bathroom regularly in the morning several times or on occassion sometimes during the day if something has not agreed with me.I do avoid carbonated drinks only drink ginger ale if my tummy hurts I'm thinking of trying the probiotic Align I tried it awile back with no luck. They seemed to have repackaged improved it I'll give it a try again.Other then that I'm going to see what works best and I'm going to try to not let it bother me so much.

jt80, I feel your pain.  I have the same problem and it bothers me alot.  I am taking Align right now and at first it seemed to be really helping with my constipation and now I don't feel like I am seeing any difference at all.  But I am on week three and I decided to give it a month or more to do it's thing...plus my diet has been absolutely horrible for the last couple weeks. Let me know how it goes for you.  Good luck!
