I have a lot of trigger foods. The main ones are whole wheat products (muffins, bread, bagels, cereal), spicy foods, we have something called Cincinnati style chili here where I live, it has secret ingredients in it and always, always messes me up, so it's out now.
But oddly enough bananas are one of my go-to foods. Funny how we're all unique and different. What helps one person may really mess up another.
This is why I found a food journal helped me a lot. I kept one faithfully for over 2 years. Now I know what to avoid. Chocolate's another (especially semi-sweet bakers chocolate) and microbrew dark beer. Wow, that beer is better at cleaning me out than bowel preps! LOL
