So I figured out I accidentally ate banana this morning.  Bananas are my one trigger food that I know without a doubt I cannot eat because I bloat terribly.  sad   There was bread sitting on the counter, and I wanted a mid-morning snack.  I figured it was zuccini bread, so I had a slice.  Well, dumb me, I can't really tell the difference between zuccini and banana bread, and it turned out to be banana bread.  I can't even eat it in a bread, because it always always does the bloat thing.  Does anyone else have a trigger food that they know will always do bad things to them? confused

Wow, do you have 5 minutes? LOL

I have a lot of trigger foods. The main ones are whole wheat products (muffins, bread, bagels, cereal), spicy foods, we have something called Cincinnati style chili here where I live, it has secret ingredients in it and always, always messes me up, so it's out now.

But oddly enough bananas are one of my go-to foods. Funny how we're all unique and different. What helps one person may really mess up another.

This is why I found a food journal helped me a lot. I kept one faithfully for over 2 years. Now I know what to avoid. Chocolate's another (especially semi-sweet bakers chocolate) and microbrew dark beer. Wow, that beer is better at cleaning me out than bowel preps! LOL
