I was wondering if anyone else experienced IBS flare-ups with the change of seasons.  I usually experience this, especially going into the hot weather.  It sometimes even happens going from hot to cool weather; but more often, it occurs as the hot weather appears.

I do if I've been eating too much fresh summer fruit and produce (corn on the cob, sliced tomatoes). This is when I long for something that no one wants to eat in the summer - beef stew. LOL

As far as very hot weather, I am just more of a winter person. Happiest when it's snowing. Which sounds very odd to admit but this is how I feel.

I'm the hibernating type, building a nest so to speak along with baking, cooking, sewing. Summer is just too busy and different from all the other seasons!

I actually don't find it odd that you like the winter over summer.  Summer used to be my least favorite season until I learned how to swim at the age of 34 and got a swimming pool.  Now I don't hate the summer like I used to.  But I still love cooler weather myself.  My favorite drink is hot tea, and I love to "hibernate" with a cup of tea.  I also like to bake and do crafts, which are both more enjoyable in the colder months.  yeah

As far as the IBS in the summer months, mine seems to flare up even before I change my eating habits.  It seems to somehow be associated with the change in seasons, or maybe the heat.  I just seem to notice a pattern there and wondered if anyone else experienced this.  turn
