Low Dose Naltrexone and IBS

Has anyone tried low dose Naltrexone for IBS?  My daughter had some Naltrexone left over and they were 50 mg so I cut them down into very small pieces which would be approximately 3 mg. and I began taking one at bedtime and I see a huge improvement in my symptoms.  My primary care doctor won't write the RX but suggested I go to a gastro doctor.  I am going to start phoning some of them to make sure they will write the RX before I go in for a visit.  I am so glad I found this drug!!
