Hi everybody.

I have something of a dilemma.  We all know how healthy cruciferous vegetables are, and I would like to include them in my diet but they definitely have an uncomfortable effect on my bowel.  I have IBS-C.  My bowel habits are not altered by eating broccoli etc.  It's just the discomfort it causes passing through.  Should I eat it anyway, or am I damaging/aggravating my system if I persist?

Thanks for reading this!

I really recommend u to leave all the starchy vegetables. I can't eat any raw vegetables at all. Theyare definitely the worst like pepper. But I also have a bad acid reflux so that makes it more difficult. But I think u could try broccoli by steaming it very well and soft so it doesn't cause that much trouble. When broccoli is cooked it brakes some walls in the fibre of starchy vegetables and makes it easier for body to digest.
