........let us support one another and get thru this holiday.

I'm of course referring to the numerous array of dishes we will be tempted to eat and possibly shouldn't. With Aunt Edna (fictional person!) looking on......"try my stuffing.....you'll like it!"........

Personally I manage TG Day dinner quite well if I eat only very small portions and keep my plate to about 4 or 5 items.

But you're sitting smack dab next to someone with a heaping plate of food! And then you have to inevitably hear - "that's ALL you're going to eat? What's WRONG with you?"......

Ugh......

One of my strategies is to help in the kitchen. No one bothers you if you're doing dishes. You can't eat with soapy, dish pan hands! LOL
