I was told back in May that I have IBS. I had these pains that literally left me doubled over in aganizing pain! The doc asked me abunch of questions, felt my stomache and did a few things around by the heart and abs and said he was pretty sure it was IBS. I had another attack not to long after and he said that would happen gave me dicyclomine and asked me more questions, told me to avoid caffine which I don't drink anyways. Fast forward to Dec I would wake up sick to my stomache and usually end up sick. I HOWEVER spent December eatign salads, corns healthy stuff that I THOUGHT was good for me because I hadn't been told otherwise...Well this past week has been HORRID it's like my body is rebelling against me. I woke up vomiting Monday with a horrible migrane. When I ever I would eat say sometimes a salad my stomache would hurt and so would my head it was the craziest thing ever. So this wasn't new to me. SO I took it easy Monday. Monday night I ended up throwing up before bed. I woke Tuesday same thing and I couldn't eat ANYTHING. SO I got I got online and did some IBS reseach and discovered that my healthy eatign was not healthy for me at all... Wednesay I was feeling a little bit better but I did end up sick after taking my pills, I was nasua's before I took them but I was attempting to try to keep them down. I ate a lil bit of oatmeal and lots of water. Thursday I woke up and felt okay hungry and scared to death to eat to a certain degree because I have racoon eyes and broken blood vessels, I'm a projictile vomiter. But I took it easy eating the things recommending to eat. I was okay, fast forward this morning and I woke up I could feel and hear my stomache making noises and knew it wasn't going to be fun when I got up. I got up and had diherria and than felt sick to my stomache again. Sure enough afterwards I got sick. Now I feel kinda better tired but thats it. My grandmother wants me to go to the docter she thinks it might not be IBS but maybe my Gallbladders or something else, if it makes a differience I should be starting my period this weekend. I don't want to go to the docter spend a lot of money on tests because thats what he told me if I had to come back we would have to do exspensive test to figure it out. SO I stumbled on this site and thought I would reach out and ask for help for my body rebelling against me! Oh might I add that it feels like there is extra acid in my stomache and all week when I threw up bile was the main thing. Thanks for reading this and sorry for all the really bad spelling errors!

If you feel it's IBS then google IBS to find the many changes that can aid with IBS sufferers (try them and see if you notice any improvments) if it's your gallbladder then you'll likely need to see a doc. Goosebumps are not a typical symptom of IBS, you might also consider IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) which can cause vomitting, I have both IBS and IBD, never had any issues with vomitting but plenty of IBDers do, again, it could very well be your gallbladder, or something else more serious that you should get checked out.

:)
bee propolis caps 500mg one cap twice/day
omegas 369 caps one cap twice/day
probiotics 10 billion cfu once/day
vitamins C-calcium ascorbate (easy on the gut) and vitamin A each once/day
Prodiem fibre supplement one cap before bed
I've also altered my diet (no junky stuff at all, processed, fast-foods, refined sugars, ect) and exercise regularly.
I went from 30+ bloody BM's/day with lots of lower back pain to an average of 5/day no bleeding no back pain and completely formed stools, still have severe urgency issues.

Just wondering...what is your "typical" diet in a day? Do you eat low/no-fat processed foods, "diet" foods/drinks? Had you been on antibiotics before your symptoms appeared? Just trying to connect some dots, but it would be prudent to get checked by a doctor if your symptoms persist. (Corn-containing foods are not healthy.)

Its important you talk to your doctor again if you haven't yet and tell him those symptoms.

Well last month I spent the whole month eating salad's and corn....so yeah I had corn. I kept saying for the longest time that salads made me sick and gave me headaches...But I felt stupid, because hello there suppose to be good for you so I thought I was doing something good. Than I learned nope by googling it wasn't. But I havent ate corn or salad since Christmas. I've been eating oatmeal, bannanna's, and staying away from chips, wheat, corn be it cereal, in a can, popcorn or on the cob. I take Tetracycline which is an antibotic that treats my acne that pill can be violent sometimes w/me but I wasn't taking it during that. My mom found out from her pharmasits that takes out the bactirea including the good kind. So he had her buy florastor which I've been taking since I made the post and I've been taking Dicyclomine 20mg since May three times a day from the docter. My docter never told me to watch soluble or in soluble fiber or that salads or other veggies would mess with me. He said caffine can and I don't mess around with that I'm a aqua girl! I was eating things like wheat thins(which sadly are no good for me I guess either) eggs different ways, yogurt, fruits, and mainly salads last month. You know it's kind of sucks you think your eating healthy and than find out that your not. I'm really a picky eater. And mainly all the veggies and fruits I do like are the bad kind :(...I don't like hardly any meat, I can eat chicken and Turkey but just like you do on Thanksgiving or christmas, I eat bacon once in awhile but it has to be super cripsy. Meat does not agree with me because I spit up my food, I've done it my whole life and I just swallow it back down but meat and the fat doesn't work for me at all. I don't do it on purpose though trust me, it's horrible!!!

I havent vomitted since last Sunday? Mornings are the worst for me! I always said I suffer from morning sickness because I wake up and will feel nauses to the point were I can't help but vomitt and usually I always feel better if I do, depends though. I had this problem since junior high? I try to eat breakfest but thats general a fail but it doesn't help and usually makes matters worse. But it's not every morning it's hit and miss and I've just learned to deal with that. I haven't been to my docter again because I'm seeing if eliminating the bad fiber or eat as lil as possible will help change things...Because I just started as a junior at a four year private college and I don't have money to be wasting or blowing at all and if I had to spend a lot to find out it's IBS or spastic colon as he calls it that would suck.

Thanks everyone for the replies :o)!!!!

Wouldn't surprise me but that the antibiotics are contributing to your ill-health....even those taken years ago. They can cause a fungal/yeast overgrowth. When the good bacteria is killed off with antibiotics, yeast is allowed to proliferate. Good to hear you are on probiotics now. Do you eat low-fat/no-fat yogurt? -Low-fat/no-fat dressing on yoru salad...when you were eating salads? A lot of those "no/low" fat foods have artificial sweeteners in them. Artificial sweeteners can cause migraines and gastro problems. Hope you feel better soon.
