I'm already hypnotizing myself......"must avoid, must avoid." LOL!

I know hubby will want me to join in the fun and snack with him.

I have a Marie Calander's turkey and mashed potato meal in the freezer. Oh wish me luck, I'll probably make him a BBQ sandwich, cole slaw and some sort of side. I hope to enjoy my frozen meal. LOL

If someone years ago told me how much I'd need and crave these simple frozen meals, I would have told them they were flat out crazy!

Anyone else have to avoid party type foods on a day like this? LOL

Just curious......if I were to throw caution to the wind and pig out, I'd be so sick.

Good Luck this afternoon Marsky. I know just what you mean about avoiding all the tempting goodies at parties. Hubby and I are going to the neighbors' house later on to watch the game. I personally find that I can eat most crackers and pretzels without terrible side effects.
I was never much of an alcohol drinker anyway, so passing on the beer and other libations isn't too hard for me.
Enjoy the company and the football. Sadly most social occasions seem to revolve around food but I've found that I enjoy the camaraderie better now that I concentrate on conversation rather than the spread on the table.
