I had to go in for a second ultrasound last night when I asked the tech why the doctors wanted another ultrasound she said the paper said my little girl's bowel was too big and when she did the scan it still looked too big. Then she started asking questions like can I still feel movement .which she moves all the time. what does it mean when a bowel is too big? Now she has myself and husband worried something might be wrong and the doctors haven't said anything. cry sad

Hopefully you'll hear something from your doctor soon. I would call on Monday afternoon and let them know that you are scared. They will tell you as soon as they know something. It's hard to wait for test results especially when it involves a child. I hope everything turns out ok.

Still no call from the dr and I am hoping this means everything is alright. My husband is planning on calling after work. He doesn't want me to call and get stressed out

Don't assume anything; call the doctor's office and tell them you need to hear the results. Medical offices are very busy these days, and things can fall through the cracks. Even if it's just that the doctor has a stack of reports from a lot of people to review, you want him to read yours and give you the results first.

Be a squeaky wheel, in a polite way.

And shame on that tech for raising your anxiety like this. She isn't qualified to report on the test, and shouldn't have told you something that may mean absolutely nothing.

I am pleased to say that nothing was wrong with my daughter when she was born 2 weeks ago. I had to deliver her a month early due to low amount of fluid around her. She was a tiny 5lbs 4 oz. But she is healthy and nothing is wrong with her bowel. We are both so very happy :)
