reglan for constipation

I had gb removal and since the surgery  i had constipation. My dr told me to take reglan for the constipation. Does anyone know if this will work or not?
im dxed with  herniated discs,fibromylagia , scolosis,ddd,athritis, spinal stenosis ,gerd,gastric ulcer,gallbladder removal 3/23/10.
 
meds,ambien, prilosec otc,lortab ,reglan,flonase. ibuprofren and  trazodone.

     THE REGLAN IS USED TO MOVE FOOD OUT OF YOUR STOMACH FASTER, IT DID NOTING FOR CONSTIPATION THAT I KNOW OF...GOOD LUCK...TRY THE ALO LAX, SUPPOSTA WORK WELL.
