Garlic, spices and IBS

Anybody else have problems with spices particularly garlic and onions? I had garlic on breadsticks yesterday at Olive Garden and woke up with bad crams today. I could actually smell the garlic in the poop! Yuck!!! Sorry if that was too graphic. My hubby loves Olive Garden but I just can't find anything to eat there. Glad the tylenol #3 and imodium kicked in after about an hour. I had nightmares all night too. Don't feel like I have slept-:) Sigh......
diagnosed 1/09 with "diverticular colitis" ?? location: sigmoid colon
localized scleroderma, IBS, asthma/allergies, prediabetes, high BP, fibromyalgia, GERD
low thyroid,claritin, singulair, diovan, progesterone, VSL#3 probiotic, Vit. D, colazal
pexeva, rolaids, pepsid (as needed)


Blood test positive for Crohn's via prometheus ibd serology panel

Yes!

My family and I ate a meal at Carraba's once. I had such bad heartburn after that meal. It began before I finished my meal. Later someone told me that Carraba's adds fresh minced garlic to everything they make from salad dressings, to salads, to sauces, etc. There is nothing I can eat there!

I forget that what that meal did to my IBS issues, but I do recall popping Gavisgon, eating pieces of plain white bread, sipping water for hours afterwards.

So avoid Carraba's if the Olive Garden messed you up.
