I have IBS C...I have been fairly good with the help of Amitiza, Citrucel, probiotics and ultimate oil for awhile.  A couple of weeks ago I felt uncomfortable in the stomach and had been having a lot of headaches.  I felt very hypoglycemic and went to see the doctor.  I am better but far from where I was.  The doctor thinks I have a sinus infection and put me on antibiotics.  It seems when I eat I feel more hungry.  I feel like I am not digesting the food.  Not really sure if that is the case but it doesn't feel great in the stomach.  I do feel some acid reflux buildup.  The hypoglycemia is my concern.  I think I eat enough my diet has not changed from what it is has been so I am seeking advising why this is happening.  I feel weaker and my stomach feels uncomfortable.  Suggestions greatly needed.

I have the same problem. My doctor says that it is because with my diarrhea, my body is not digesting any real calories, so it will continue to feel hungry until it feels nourished. Also, when I do eat, I have a bowel movement right away, and so much output that my food went right through me. It is like my food is there to push food instead of doing other things. I also been struggling with poor appetite on some days, but even without an appetite, my brain always wants food. So, that is probably what is happening. I still ironically could digest some nutrients, but nutrients do not have any calories, its the carbs and the fats that do, and the body also wants those too. Even though, people think it is great that I could do this and still be 97 lbs., but it is bad when I feel tired and sick all of the time. I even tried many powders and medications, but due to my total colectomy unusual side effect, I am unable to digest these things, and they do not work. I am going to see another G.I. this Friday. Well, good luck with everything.

Thanks Maya!  Do you feel weak and hypoglycemic all the time?  I am not consuming much more than I did before and I am gaining weight.  I just feel so exhausted and have a really weird feeling alot of the time.
