Hi all. I usually post on the fibro forum, but my problem today is more suitable for this one. :)

I recently had a stomach virus (horrible, horrible vomiting & diarrhea). I ended up in the hospital with negative x-rays, blood tests, and stool cultures. (We know it was a virus because other family members caught it at staggered times). It's been about 3 weeks since I had it, and I am still having problems. I have IBS, and it just seems to be really exacerbated. Lots of cramping, gas, bloating, stomach pain, etc.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced a flare or worsened IBS after a stomach virus, and if so, how long did it take things to get back to normal? Thanks!!
