Nuasea that can be sever - diagnosed as non-ulcer dyspepsia

I have been suffering from nausea on and off, in varying degrees for several years now. After many trips to the doctor, an endoscopy, barium test, and a trip to the GI, I have been diagnosed with non-ulcer dyspepsia. Problem is, there's nothing I can do about it! I have fine days, and in between days, and days like today where the nausea is so severe (on an empty stomach even) it's intolerable and I don't want to do a thing!

Foods don't seem to make a difference: I have cut out coffee, and very spicy food, but I don't think it matters.

Is there anyone out there with a similar issue, and what did you do? The doctor wants me to come in AGAIN, but I'm tired of the runaround. Also took antibiotics for H Pyllori twice, and he wants me to do it again, but I don't want to. Anyone?

This is an upper functional gi disorder.

I will see if I can post some more info here for you.

One thing is don't eat chocolate.
