I stay out of the way on halloween - we get grown up kids coming round saying trick or treat basically so they can have some money to buy cigarettes and the obligatory bottle of cider!  I generally try and ignore the knocks - yesy I konw I'm a spoil sport - but its not a that big a deal over here I dont think and so people dont really make the effort.

I do have come chocolate in the fridge but that DEFINITLEY makes me ill so I'm pretty peed off about that!!!

Oh the poor kiddos!! sad

It's storming like crazy here that we may not have a Halloween this year (sniff)... what am I gonna do with all this candy???  I think that the safest thing would be just to bring it to work and let them at it there... it will keep me out of trouble. skull

my husband and i can't wait till we have a house for little trick or treaters to come! (we are technical theatre people, so we want to be the "scary house" all decorated and stuff.)
but for now, no one comes... which is good--cause we don't have anything to give!!

--my parents were the ones who gave out raisins and pennies!!! i guess that is why i want to be the 'fun' house!!!

what would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?

I am playing in our symphony's annual family Halloween concert tonight, which should be lovely, especially since I'm a garden hose today!  All the musicians have to dress up, and I'm wearing this white gypsy/belly dancer costume; NOT a good one to shart in.  Will employ the utmost caution this evening.

Ooh nice Sarita... what do you play? Yes you may want to try your best to hold the sharts LOL. What happens if you have to go? Do you have an escape plan?

That sounds like so much fun bunny... you guys will do great when the time comes :) As for us, we are so boring, we don't have anything at our front door, no scary stuff. Just a lit up jack-o-lantern that we put in the window above the front door. No creativity here LOL.

Hope you all didn't do what Des does "one for you, 2 for me." LOL

Actually I didn't get to do that... my husband bought all chocolate and I can pretty much control myself around chocolate. Its the pure sugar candies that I can't resist. So even though I got jokingly mad at him for not thinking of me (sniff), he is my hero for not letting me get in trouble LOL.
