I posted this tip in another thread, so maybe not everyone saw it: has anyone tried eating dehydrated banana chips to help their diarrhea? It's the best natural constipating agent I've ever found! I figure it works by getting in the stomach/intestines and rehydrating itself by absorbing all of the surrounding water. Makes a normal person VERY constipated if they eat too much (too much would be half a bag from a grocery store, lol). I would surmise that for people who have diarrhea, it would help lessen it by absorbing some of their excess water. Lord only knows how much you'd have to eat to get yourself regulated, but it might be worth the effort. If it helps make it less severe for some, that would be progress.
