about your thighs: I was just reading an article on MSN the other day that says fat on your thighs is actually good. You know they have been saying for a while now that it's better to be a pear shape than an apple shape (fat below the waist rather than above it), but a new study has actually found that women with fat on their thighs not only have less heart problems than women with fat above the waist, but that leggy women have the same health levels as women who aren't overweight at all. So while thigh fat may be asthetically or culturally unpleasing, it's not bad for you at all, even if it makes you overweight. And, in fact, they found that women who lost their thigh fat had more health problems than women who kept theirs on. Something about thigh fat keeping the bad fats out of the bloodstream, or something like that. I'll have to see if I can find the article. Make all of us pear-shaped women feel better for the New Year.
