Dry Roasted Peanuts

I was eating peanuts today at work not many maybe one or two hand fulls and on my way home from work I felt the urge to go.  I guess its safe to assume that peanuts are a no no? nono   Geesh I did not think I would ever get off the toliet once I got on it after I got home.  Does peanuts affect anyone else like that?

Nuts are a common trigger food for IBS. There are some people though that can handle them without any problems. I would take this opportunity if I were you to put this down in your food diary as a trigger. Pretty soon you will realize what makes you miserable and you will know to avoid those types of foods and ingredients.

Most nuts I can handle a good sized handful - but any more than that and I'm running with D. Pistachios, on the other hand, give me D after just half a dozen. It must be the fat and (good) oils in them that do it. ???

I have crohn's and IBS and avoid all nuts now. It sure was hard to give up my peanut m&m's but they made me sick every time I ate them.
