Citrical Fiber suplement?

Ive been using it twice a day for a cdouple of weeks and I think it helps.
I was wondering if should get between 20-30 grams of fiber a day, How could just 2 grams two times a day of this stuff be much help? Wouldnt having a very small bowl of cerial (Raison bran or Fiber one) in the morning and eavning give you a but load more fiber? Wouldnt that be more benifical than just the two grams you get with the Citrical?
The stuff is kinda costly two.......
Just wondering.

Hi Lenny,
I get my fiber sources from both. I do eat a bowl of frosted mini wheats (maple/brown suger YUM!) and sometimes two bowls of that but I still take my fiber supplements. It is preferred that you get all your sources of anything via food vs supplements. 30 grams of fiber does seem a lot and the supplements only offer very little of that so people panic however most people don't realize that fiber is in a lot of foods that people eat anyway. Taking my supplements just gives me peace of mind that I am not shorting myself.
