I have IBS w/C.
I have been taking citrucel with a fabulous product that everyone should try.  Its called Super Seed from Garden of Life.  Its more of an "alive" fiber from greens etc vs citrucel.  I combine the two together twice a day and take my zelnorm.  It seems to help
What is fabulous is Primal Defense.  All it is is acidophilous.  You can never have too much.  I take 5 peoples a day and at times my stomach is at peace.  Until I introduced Primal Defense I never had it like this.  Then adding the super seed helped a lot.
In addition, everytime I take my vitamins I drink prune juice.  Twice a day.
All this has made a difference.

Zeba - I just got off the phone with a good friend and she just now told me about Primal Defense. Raved about it. I pay attention to coincidences. Thanks.

I took Primal Defense and it did nothing for me. Didn't help me at all with my constipation. It is more than just accidophulis. It is a soil based probiotic, different yet from your regular probiotic. VERY pricey too.
