I just wanted to say that you guys are great and that I am so sorry that I haven’t been as much support to you all lately.  I’m having a really difficult time at the moment, lots of joint pain and fatigue and just a general sick feeling.  I’m fearing a flare (or two) around the corner if it hasn’t hit me yet as I have been under a lot of stress.  To make matters worse, I found out a few weeks ago that I am being laid off.

I want to apologize to you Lil, for putting the burden on you by being so scarce.  I have been really using my computer time to find out the answers I need for me on my new diagnosis and have been not being fair to you or the rest of the members.

I will be more aware of this as I know that this site has done so much for me in the past couple of years and I owe so much back to it and the members (you).  Besides that, I think that just posting with all of you eliminates a lot of stress.

I just wanted you all to know that you are very important to me and that I will do a better job here!!!

Well, it wouldn't make any sense to have a moderator who didn't have problems. I'm just sorry you have so many in addition to your IBS. :-(

Did they ever find out for sure why you are having the joint pain?

Thanks Keri... I was dx'd with Sjogren's which causes dry eyes, mouth, joint problems, fatigue and a bunch of other stuff. Its a rheumatoid and connective tissue disorder.

(((DES)))
You are my rock. I don't know what I would have done, or what I would do, without you. I came here a lost soul and you (along with many others) helped me cope. I will always be grateful for your help and personal attention (thanks for the emails!).
Take all the time you need. We are all here for support, help, and guidance... Sometimes we need more help and understanding than others.
We are here for you, Des.
Take care.

You're awesome, Des - let us be your rock too!  I'm sorry you've been feeling so cruddy lately.  Your perseverence is admirable.  Things will look up again, I'm sure, soon enough.  Thank you for everything you do for this site and for us.  Hang in there girly!

Hey Des, you mods are great and don't ever forget it! You guys have done so much for the site and i like many others am so glad that i found this place when i did.

Besides, It wouldn't be much of a support group if it was all one way traffic and we couldn't help you out sometimes! By the sounds of it you're having a really rough time at the moment and i hope you find some answers soon.

Just remember, you help make this site what it is and I will always be gratefull for the advice and support that you and Lil have given me.

Take care

roadtrip :-)
