HELLO! I HAVE NOT BEEN ON HERE IN AWHILE. I HAD BEEN DOING GOOD AND THEN I HAVE BEEN HAVING TERRIBLE EPISODES FOR TWO WEEKS. EVERYTHING I EAT, I HAVE DIARRHEA. I HAVE BEEN EVEN DRINKING THE NUTRITIONAL DRINKS AND WITHIN 15 MINUTES I HAVE VERY WATERY DIARRHEA. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT IT IS, I HAVE DIARRHEA. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND. I GO TO THE DOCTOR TOMORROW, SO WE WILL SEE. I HAVE VERY LOW DULL FEELING IN MY LOWER ABDOMEN AND RIGHT SIDED PAIN BY MY HIP AREA. I DON'T UNDERSTAND AND IT HAS ME DOWN AND FEELING VERY EXHAUSTED. THANKS! LISA

Hi!  I'm new here too (as of last weekend.)  I love this message board.  I feel better knowing that I"m not alone.  I was Dx with IBS with diarrhea about 3 weeks ago.  It has got me down and depressed becaues it's like my life changed in 1 day and hasn't been normal since.  My D has slowed down somewhat, but I'm not "normal" by all means.  I've had 2 months straight of D/loose stools.  I've had a colonoscopy, and everything.  The specialist still says IBS-D.  It's hard to accept that when you feel like something else is wrong causing it.  It makes no sense.
Keep an eye on the message board.  IT makes you feel better and you will get TONS of good advice.  Have you tried a high fiber tiet with a supplement, such as metamucil?  My GI specialist recommends a high fiber even for people with diarrhea. It gives some form to stools...nothing "normal", but better than watery diarrhea.  IT has helped me some.
Hope you are feeling better soon!!!
