Xanax has been making me so sick. I think it's the combo with my Zoloft and Synthroid. I have been weaned down by my dr. and I should be off by Monday. My IBS was so bad with this med and now that I am almost off of it I am feeling so much better and my IBS is like controlled. :) What a difference it makes in how you feel.

yeah   yeah   yeah

Hi Bethers,

Congrats on feeling better!

I know that mixing meds are not good, but you would think that your doc would know better than to keep you on so many.  Glad you figured it out though, and glad you're feeling better.

Here's to many more "healthier" days!!!  :-)

Hi thanks Lil.

Man what a difference. Tommorrow I can go completly off the dr. said. She was going to have me wait until Monday but since I still have been taking that one pill in the morning it's an automatic stomach ache and I don't need it. It makes me really mad though that my dr. didn't take me more serious in the past and try to get me off these sooner when I was really suffering so much. I actually want to get up now in the morning and have more energy and feel like my old self. When I was on all the Xanax I would wake up at 4 a.m. with diarrea, and I would go almost all day constantaly going to the bathroom, couldn't eat, was so tired, just wanted to lay on the couch and sleep all day and felt really depressed. It was awful. I know that Xanax works for some but for me it was a nightmare.

Hugs! Bethers
