I took hyoscamine and it did seem to work for me. I think it depends on how severe your symptoms are, I first started taking it like 5 yrs ago and my IBS-D was not too bad, and now it's way worse so I'm not sure it would work for me now. In fact, I did take it for a while 6 months ago, and it just wasn't cutting it. It wouldn't really make me sleepy, maybe a little drowsy but not too bad, I would take it before class and managed to stay awake. I would also have a meal with it, maybe that's why it didn't affect me so bad. I hope you find something that works for you.
