what to eat for breakfast

Some one asked what they could eat for breakfast they said they just found out they had IBS
will many of us our differant we all can eat what some one cant you just have to try differant things
to see where you stand. Its a trial bassic thing.

Like In the morning I have been lately eating those dannon yogurts that there advertizing that helps
the digestion it helps me . someone on her told me to try them and I did. I try not to eat bread cause thats
one thing that hurts me. and bran cereal is a no no for me so I eat oat meal or rice ceral. and instead of eating a big meal
Iam eating smaller meals several times a day . anyway other people can tell you more than me .

Apple juice and apples are a big no-no. Orange juice and V-8 style juices are often too acidic for many people to tolerate as well. Prune juice seems to be okay for people who have C, but obviously not D. I guesstimate that about 50% of IBSers cannot tolerate dairy products, so that's a toss up. Greasy bacon and sausage should probably be out too, but I have no trouble with turkey bacon fried in a microwave because it's so lean and grease- and fat-free.

I have low fat yoghurt with acidophilus..just half a tub and that seems to go down fine.  Definatley no apples or fruit juice..or toast.

I usually have a soy mixed cake (from asian grocery stores), some cereal and green tea. I've found it has made some difference to my bm's.
DX'd with IBS May 2006

Current Medications :
None, but occasionally carry Seirogan for fast relief from D.
