So i always had mild constipation, last year i took some antibiotics for prostatitis, it was different rounds of antibiotics,
i kept trying to take probiotics and eat yogurt, kombucha, acidophilus to replenish. Yet the symptopms got worse
with gas and bloating, like ibs-c.
Nothing would help it sometimes, like the stuff that would work before like fruits, fiber, aloe juice.
I found out here about the study they did with this particular type of probiotic strain Bifidus Infantis and how it helps people with ibs either c or d.
So, i ordered some align at align.com since that was what the study was recommending.
I also went to the health food store and look at all the yogurts, kefir and probiotic supplements for that particular strain.
None had it except for one acidophilus supplement.
I started it taking it a week ago and i've never been so regular before, no strain, no gas, no pellets,
i take one in the morning and one before bed. All my symptoms are gone including gerd.
I hope it lasts! I have felt so much better!!
One day at the beginning i went like 5 times, good consistency, i think just getting rid of accumulated stuff and now
it is just really normal every day.
Hope this helps you too!!

GOOD, I really hope it works for you guys!
I was reading about it some more and it says that you might experience some bloating for a few days due to all the bad bacteria dying.
I think i had some of that but now have been pretty much regular ever since, I ate a lot of cheddar cheese for a few days and
I got harder stools but still regular.
I have been trying mainly the new chapter product, i have the other one but havent tried it too much

Just to update this message i originally wrote in november 2006
That probiotic started to work for me the New Chapter one but
the combination of that one and this one made by Metagenics
called Ultra Flora DF, have made a big difference for me
for the last 2 months.
I have no symtptoms at all and go 2 times a day usually
Also been doing yoga 3 times a week
