Can someone suggest the fiber therapy they use? I've been trying the fiber choice tablets but they don't seem to be helping alot. I'm still having significant abdominal pain. My doc recommended I try a fiber supplement. There are so many and I don't know what to choose. Anything help from experience?

Julia,
There are all sorts of fiber regimens out there... you need to keep trying until you find one that works for you. I've tried Citrucel, which I absolutely despised. It gave me D and gas, and I thought I was going to explode. Metamucil is great for me... I pop 1 or 2 pills every couple days. I've also tried Psyllium and that was good too. I have heard lots of people talk about Benefiber... Haven't tried it yet though.
Hopefully others will be around soon to share their experiences too.
Good luck!

I use Prodiem stool bulker with much success...if it's available in your area I suggest trying it, I only need to take one pill/before bed every night and it's helped my crohns and IBS.  My sister whom has just IBS eats oatmeal everyday and for her that helps.

:)
