hello there,
I hope you don't mind me asking this cool ..I'm just curious eyes   to those who have IBS like me, how does your stool look like? short, formed/formless, round, flat etc...? Mine differs from time to time and I'm just quite confuse.  Other time I have bulky stools but lately they're short and not bulky, I sometimes have stools with flat side on the other and round on the other...other times they're combination of what I've mentioned above. Sometimes I wonder where all the food I ate went because I pass short amount of stools...anyone??? eyes

Alright, I'll start....
Considering I have IBS-A, my BMs change from 1 day to the next. I can have little pellet rabbit like poops 1 day and then the next have super soft larger ones. I have noticed, however, that if I don't go for a couple days when I finally do they tend to be bigger and softer. When I go on a daily basis, they tend to be smaller and harder.

They are different everyday. Usually they start out formed and shaped like an S. But if I have to go more than once, they get looser and looser. After 3-4 times it is usually watery. I have more than 1 stool a couple of times a week.

In the morning if I go before I eat breakfast, I'll have to go after breakfast and it's very loose.

lol! For me its all diffrent every time. I never have loose bms unless its the week before my cycle than I have loose bms and I go lots more
for some odd reason.

bot I allso have the pellet size ones , thin long ones with a point. short stubby ones,

but if I dont go for a 4-5 days they start out small and hard when finnally I go then for a few days than I stop for a long time.

Here latly Ive been going good cause I stated that activia yogurt. read my praise report.

caregirl-It sounds like I have exactly what you are experiencing.  Last year, I had normal then all of a sudden loose watery.  I am back and forth, but I would have to say more "hard stools".  I have all different shapes, but I figure it is due to IBS.
