Hi everyone!  I've been posting a lot the past few days, and I'm sure many of you are wondering, "Who IS this woman?"  I've had more than my fair share of gut problems and surgeries, so I hope to be able help any of you with questions you might have.  Hey, it makes me feel better to maybe give some info that might help another sufferer.  Is that a bit selfish?  :-)   I am in pain management and on some serious meds due to pain, nausea, and a host of other problems from pretty bad bowel adhesions (scar tissue).  If there are any other adhesions sufferers out there, I'd love to talk.  I've also been using the fentanyl patch for a long time, so if anyone has issues with that, I might be able to help out in that area too.
This is really a great place - particularly as far as internet message boards go.  You all do a great job helping each other out, and I'm so happy to be able to participate.

Hey TexasJen!
Welcome to the site! :-)
Thanks for introducing yourself. And, thank you for your avid participation... It is so great to offer help when you can. I think it's a bonus that your helping others is helping yourself. It's almost therapeutic for us all to be here and help each other. Welcome to the family!
