I hear ya - the big morning D can be a huge drag. I've lived the past two years of my life with nearly constant D, sometimes 20 times a day. Just yesterday I went 10 times before lunch! Have you tried a dose of Immodium once a day yet? Lomotil is slightly different and works better for some people, not for others. You might as well try it - what do you have to lose? I found that Immodium generally works better for me, actually. Keep up with the bananas. Also try a calcium citrate supplement (without magnesium); this can help bind you up and may decrease your need for anti-D meds. When you drink Gatorade, dilute it by half with water, because the high amount of sugar in Gatorade can make diarrhea worse.
