HI I HAD MY EMERGENCY GALL BLADDER SURGERY JUST TWO WEEKS AGO EVER SINCE i HAVENT HAD MUCH OF A APPITITE IVE LOST TEN POUNDS I HAD TO GO BACK INTO THE HOSPITAL THREE DAYS AFTER I WAS HOME DUE TO THROWING UP AND BAD DIRREA WITH BLOOD SO HAD TO GO BACK INTO THE HOSPITAL FOR A FEW DAYS, FINISHED THE ANTIBOTIC VANCOCIN LAST NIGHT SO IM HOPING MY STOMACH STARTS TO FELL BETTER ALSO HAVING PROBLEMS WITH ANXIETY SINCE THE SURGERY THE DRS SAY THAT WILL GET BACK TO NORMAL AFTER A LITTLE WHILE, CAN  ANYONE LET ME KNOW IF THIS SOUNDS NORMAL? THANKS ALOT SUEBIRD

Hi SUEBIRD,
As Keri mention on the other thread, it is never normal to have bloody diarrhea. Please watch yourself carefully and make sure to take the antibiotics as directed... and to take ALL of them.
You should probably take probiotics too. Those antibiotics and having so much D is flushing out the good bacteria from your intestines. They really need to be replenished to get your guts back on track. If you take a supplement, or eat yogurt, you might want to wait at least a couple hours after you take the antibiotic. If you don't wait then the antibiotic will kill off the good bacteria which will be counter productive.
